Deb has over 15 years of experience working with individuals and families in a variety of settings including child welfare programs, community mental health and outpatient.  Deb has experience working with children, youth, adults and families  and the LGBTQ community in overcoming stressors, crisis, and reaching their goals.

Deb’s focus is building on strengths to help empower individuals and families to reach their highest potential.

Specialties include: adoption and foster care concerns, children and adolescents, parenting, life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, communication and coping with change and stress.

Deb provides individualized and family counseling utilizing mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy and play therapy. 

 

Kate Walker, LICSW, MSW

Throughout her career Kate has always been drawn to how people’s story impact their life. Kate has worked in various settings such as community mental health centers, the medical field, and with hospice care. Kate has experience working with the LGBT community, youth, adults and older adults providing individual counseling.

Kate specializes in individuals grappling with loss, complicated grief, and challenging life transitions. Her intention is to help you process the heavy and complex emotions in order to move forward and glean insight into your life. Other focus areas include: anxiety, depression, coping with chronic illness, caregiver burnout and end of life concerns.

Kate utilizes models such as cognitive- behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and narrative therapy. Kate’s focus is to help identify destructive patterns, unhelpful thought patterns and help work with your strengths in order to establish healthy ways of moving through life.

Katie Giardino, LCSW

Katie has had 10 years of experience working in a variety of settings including residential shelters, school counseling, and community support agencies. She has a strong background working in intimate partner violence support services, relational trauma, anxiety issues, and life transitions.

Katie works with both individuals and couples and has experience with young/emerging adults, college/graduate students, LGBTQ+ individuals, as well as adults.

Katie utilizes models such as mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, relational therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, all while drawing from her client centered, strengths based, psychodynamic training as a clinical social worker. It is important that she continuously works towards building trust and safety in her interactions with clients. Katie will strive to support you in a comfortable, non-judgmental, compassionate space.

 

Wes Cruz, LCSW

Wes is a bilingual (Spanish/ English) Therapist that has 9 years of experience working with youth and families.  Wes’ focus is in meeting clients where they are and helping to support and guide them towards their own success and wellness. 

Wes specializes in treating depression and anxiety from adolescence to adulthood.  Additionally, Wes offers ethical Christian counseling for anyone trying to balance those values in everyday 21st century living.

Wes utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment through a person centered and trauma focused approach to work with adolescents, adults and families.

Maritza Nuñez, MS

Martiza is a bilingual therapist (Spanish/English) who has had over 8 years of experience working in the human service field. She has worked in group homes and agencies doing case management work. She has also worked in Emergency Services helping patients and completing psychiatric evaluations.

Maritza is passionate about helping individuals who want to develop healthy relationships and healthier coping skills as well as resolve any past or current trauma. She specializes in working with clients who struggle with symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Maritza’s primary goal as a therapist is to establish a safe and compassionate environment, where her client’s never feel judged and can find peace of mind. Maritza utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy.
